It's been several years since I visited the city of Baguio. I'm so excited to feel the cool breeze and experience the city. I'll be going with two friends and I'm the third wheel (again). Well, it's not bad. I need this trip. Revisit some childhood memories, breath cold air, see different things freshly which can get me to think of other things to paint or draw, and maybe know more about myself, and maybe have God speak to me from the mountain. There are so many places I would love to visit, and hopefully we get to drop by BenCab's museum! The reason we're visiting is because my close friend is going to do an ocular for his wedding venue! Oh the miracle of love!
Here's what I'll be sporting on day 1 (and I may change a few items last minute hehe). If anything happens, you can identify me with these.
Thank you Lord for the opportunity to go out and see the old as new! And for good friends who are a testimony of your goodness. It's funny, but I'm reminded of the story of Jacob when he worked 7 years to marry Rachel, and those seven years seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her (Genesis 27:20). Come to think of it, I guess my friends who have found the one experienced the same just like Jacob and Rachel. I suppose that goes the same with my friend hehe.
I'll try to finish a painting today to close this week. Have a great weekend everyone!
And if anything happens to me in the trip, you know I love you. ;)

ChurchNOW!
Do swing by McDonald's Greenbelt 1 in Makati for our two times a week midweek service (every first and third Wednesday)! Coffee and pastries to be served! Plus it's the first episode of "Christianity on Steroids"(January 18) where Vince and I will share! See you!
The day isn't over yet
and I just snapped after my birthday staple gun broke, leaving me with an unfinished stretched canvas |
If this is the first time you’ve visited this site I’d like to apologize that this isn’t a happy post.
I’ve been a bit edgy the past few days. This is definitely not one of those days where I could just sing and shout and turn around my feelings and be all happy about. When I am troubled, give me a few minutes and I’ll be ok. I’m a point A to point B person: if I want something done I will do it, and I will burn myself out if I want it done. But most of the times it takes several points to get to the destination.
